Our Commitment To You

We at the SuperStar Project and SuperStar Promotions, LLC have created this security policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to protecting you and your children's personal information and informing you about how we handle it.

Our security policy applies to all communications, postings, transactions, and data gathered, on the web sites copyrighted by SuperStar Promotions (our "sites"). This security policy does not apply to any web sites other than ours, or off-line points of contact between us and the audiences we serve.

If, at any time, you discover that any of our security policies are being violated, please let us know immediately so that we may take swift and appropriate action.

Please review this security policy periodically as we may update it from time to time.

An Overview Of Our Security Policies

1. Each time you visit any of our web sites, or provide us with information, then you are agree to accept the practices described in this security policy at the time of your visit or submission.

2. SuperStar Promotions, LLC cares about your security and dislikes “spam” as much as you do. We do not collect any personal information about you while visiting our web sites unless you specifically input the information into our forms and submit the form to us.

3. We do record statistical information for the purpose of improving our web sites and cookies may be used for monitoring our success; however this information never contains any personally identifiable information about you.

4. When our forms ask you to provide us with contact information and when you e-mail us, your contact information is used only to meet your requests or respond, if necessary, to your request. Your individual iinformation is never released outside of our organization and is never given or sold to third parties for any purpose.

5. Subscriptions and e-mail responses: Our managed e-mail services are NOT spam or junk mail; they are opt-in subscription sevices. If spam is your business - don't even ask!

6. External Links: SuperStar Promotions has no control over, and is therefore not responsible for, the security practices or content of external web sites linked on our sites. Where we have provided links to web sites outside our domains, we do so as a courtesy and can not control, nor are responsible, for their content. They had been researched and approved prior to placement on our site(s) and we periodically review these sites while providing these links. If, however, you consider the content provided by any of these links to be objectionable - please let us know immediately so that we can review it and take appropriate action.

In addition, the additional protection measures have been taken with all external links featured on the SuperStar Students web site:
      6.1) Immediately following the click of an external link, the user receives a pop-up notification that they are about to leave the SuperStar web site.
      6.2) The visitor is reminded to practice safe web surfing.
      6.3) Then given the option to continue or cancel (remain within the SuperStar Students web site).
      6.4) Visitors are also reminded to not download any software without the permission of a trusted adult.

Protections Specifically For Children

No web site created and maintained by SuperStar Promotions will ever:

• Where prior parental consent is not obtained, online contact information shall only be used to directly respond to the child's request and shall not be used to re-contact the child for any other purposes.

• Collect personally identifiable off-line contact information from children under 13 without prior verifiable parental consent.

• Distribute to third parties any personally identifiable Information collected from a child under 13 without prior verifiable parental consent.

• Give the ability to children under 13 to publicly post or otherwise distribute personally identifiable contact information without prior verifiable parental consent. We will also make best efforts to prohibit a child from posting any contact information on the sites within our control.

• Entice a child under 13 by the prospect of a special game, prize or other activity, to divulge more information than is needed to participate in such activity.

SuperStar Promotions and the SuperStars programs have an absolute zero tolerance for the use of any objectionable or offensive material within our programs, our web sites (including use of our message boards and e-cards), or by our affiliates.

Examples of unacceptable content include, but are not limited to, any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, explicit, or any other material that is generally considered to be objectionable, violates common descency, or that may violate any applicable laws.

The SuperStar Project, and SuperStar Promotions, will always rule with the use of a conservative interpretation.

We monitor and manage content within our programs with the use of our proprietary Dynamic Security Defense (DSD) suite of tools. This enables us to act and react quickly to content and behavior outisde our acceptable policies.

Our WebMaster, Administrators and School Moderators have the right to remove or edit any content at any time should they see fit.

We may store information supplied to us in the form of text, image and audio files, within databases. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without the owners consent, the WebMaster, Administrator, or School Moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.

If you find any such material on our sites, in our chat rooms, or with our affiliates, please contact us immediately so that we may take swift and appropriate action.

Your IP Address

Like most web sites, each time you visit our sites, we may collect your IP address and the web page from which you came.

This does not contain any personal information about you.

In order to administer and optimize our sites and to diagnose problems with our site(s), we mayy use your IP address to help identify broad demographic information and navigation patterns.

This information will never be used to contact you, nor will it be sold to outside parties.

We may use IP addresses to identify persons that violate our policies and we reserve all rights to subsequently ban them from any or all of our web sites - at our sole descretion. We reserve these rights, for our members, because we practice a ZERO tolerance for any content or action that may be disruptive to our audience. Cookies

Like most web sites, we use uses cookies to keep track of your activities and purchases on our sites and to enhance your experience on our sites.

Neither we, nor partners on our sites, will use this information to contact you in any way unless you have expressly asked.

We may use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests during your web session with us, to save your password, and if you choose, to save other personal and financial information that you have clearly provided, so you do not have to reenter it each time you visit our sites.

Third party partners and advertisers on our sites may also place cookies on your browser while continuing to meet or exceed the security guidelines of our sites.

Information We Collect From You

We in no way collect personal information about you (i.e. information that could be used to contact you such as full name, postal address, phone number and e-mail address), financial information (e.g. passwords, credit and debit card numbers, bank and other financial institution account numbers) nor demographic information (postal code, hometown, gender, purchase history information and age) prior to your being notified and agreeing to allow us to do so.

Information Other Web Sites May Collect From You

On our sites, we place links to other web sites operated by parties outside the SuperStar Project and SuperStar Promotions, LLC.

Some of these other web sites contain our brand names, copyrighted materials, trademarks and other intellectual property that we own; others do not. When you click on these links and visit these other web sites, regardless of whether or not they contain our brand names, trademarks and other intellectual property, you need to be aware that we do not control these other web sites or these other web sites' business practices, and that this security policy does not apply to these other web sites.

Consequently, the operators of these other web sites may collect different kinds of information about you, and may use and disclose that information in different ways than we would if it were collected on our sites.
